Linear Position Sensor MR-7 SeriesThe MR-7 Series Inductive Linear Position Sensor from Alliance Sensors Group is designed to be a drop-in, form, fit and function replacement for magnetostrictive sensors but with a much more robust construction and at a lower sell price and cost of ownership. Available in Ranges from 2" to 36", the MR-7 was designed to specifically target port mounted industrial or subsea hydraulic and pneumatic actuator and cylinder applications. The MR-7 Series is based on proprietary, contactless inductive sensing technology that employs a unique solid 7mm diameter probe construction and only requires a simple conductive tube target (or simply the gun drill ID of the cylinder rod) for operation, rather than a magnet or some other special target type.
